PROJECT 49 OF 188

Challenge

To provide customised training in intellectual property for commercialisation professionals based in Europe but active across the whole continent. The client encountered complex market positioning and operational challenges in commercialising high-potential intellectual property assets while navigating tight regulatory standards and evolving international competition.

The Oracle's Solution

A consortium training course was held within the Oxford innovation ecosystem for a delegation of 14 senior technology transfer professionals drawn from four southern European higher education institutions. This custom programme was delivered over several days with a focus on workshops and opportunities for individual support. Oxford Oracle delivered an intensive executive curriculum comprising interactive deal simulations, IP valuation toolkits, risk-adjusted financial modeling, and specialized negotiation mentorship.

Consequential Impact

The delegates achieved advanced professional development goals and continue to be in close communication with Oxford Oracle: they report that the skills gained during their time in Oxford have contributed significantly to the subsequent growth of successful commercialisation activity including, in particular, the creation of sustainable university spin-outs. Furthermore, the engagement established a permanent, scalable operational blueprint, driving long-term strategic alignment, continuous revenue growth, and enhanced institutional reputation across global innovation networks.
