An International Cultural and Educational Organisation in North America

Challenge
In 2018, Oxford Oracle was involved with the international cultural and educational organisation and the Newton Fund partnership with a national council for science and technology and SE in the Professional Development and Engagement Programme in North America to increase the level of collaboration that takes place between North American institutions in the area of technology transfer. The client encountered complex market positioning and operational challenges in commercialising high-potential intellectual property assets while navigating tight regulatory standards and evolving international competition.
The Oracle's Solution
Oxford Oracle designed and intensive course covering key elements of the technology transfer process, from Intellectual Property policies, all the way to commercialising different types of IP through licenses and spin-outs. Oxford Oracle delivered an intensive executive curriculum comprising interactive deal simulations, IP valuation toolkits, risk-adjusted financial modeling, and specialized negotiation mentorship.
Consequential Impact
The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) practitioners were able to implement the knowledge gained to grow the reach of their Technology Transfer Office (TTO) work, improve business processes, and have a better understanding of the international Technology Transfer Office (TTO) best practice. Furthermore, the engagement established a permanent, scalable operational blueprint, driving long-term strategic alignment, continuous revenue growth, and enhanced institutional reputation across global innovation networks.
