An Information Technology Institute in Asia

An Information Technology Institute in Asia

Challenge

Currently there is a lack of accredited Knowledge Exchange and Commercialisation training in Asia. The information technology institute in Asia sought to partner with Oxford Oracle to provide the first accredited training on an open enrolment basis to technology transfer managers across the nation. The institution faced increasing pressure to bridge academic discovery with commercial adoption, requiring structured governance, clear IP policies, and multi-disciplinary collaboration frameworks to overcome traditional research silos.

The Oracle's Solution

Oxford Oracle delivered two accredited courses over 4 days, covering Valuation and Deal-Making, and Commercialisation Software and Digital Know-How. The fifth day focused on agreements between the research base and industry with a particular focus on the UK Lambert Agreements. Oxford Oracle performed quantitative patent landscape mapping, market benchmark pricing, and targeted partner outreach, structuring robust cross-border licensing frameworks and value-maximizing agreements.

Consequential Impact

All attendees are currently applying their learnings. The information technology institute continues to partner with Oxford Oracle to promote recognition and professionalisation of the discipline of Knowledge Exchange across the nation. Furthermore, the engagement established a permanent, scalable operational blueprint, driving long-term strategic alignment, continuous revenue growth, and enhanced institutional reputation across global innovation networks.
