A University Technology Transfer Hub, a Regional Technology Transfer Hub, and a Prominent Private Research University in South America

Challenge
To provide 40 technology transfer practitioners from across South America with bespoke support and accredited training aligned to the innovation priorities of the national government.
The Oracle's Solution
Oxford Oracle worked with a university technology transfer hub (a government-funded technology transfer hub founded by seven South American universities that connects promising technologies with industry partners), a regional technology transfer hub (Andes Pacific Technology Access a government TT hub representing 13 universities and 2 research centres), and the prominent private research university in South America to deliver a five-day intensive training programme which included provision of two accredited courses (Building University-Industry Relationships and Commercialising Software and Digital Know-How) and a day-long project clinic during which Oxford Oracle's experts provided practical advice to rapidly advance the commercialisation of priority projects.
Consequential Impact
All programme participants received customised, accredited training which furnished them with 30 Alliance for Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP) Training CE points which can be used in application for professional recognition as Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP). Networking sessions enabled collaborations across disciplines and across geographic regions and several participants continue to work closely with Oxford Oracle in augmenting their own commercialisation outcomes.
