PROJECT 106 OF 188

Challenge

The foundation sought to create a regional technology transfer network to connect rural universities with industrial manufacturing hubs across the region, fostering collaborative innovation. The leadership sought an authoritative, independent strategic evaluation to optimize grant allocation mechanisms, streamline technology transfer workflows, and align regional innovation policies with global best practices.

The Oracle's Solution

Oxford Oracle designed the governance structure, IP sharing protocols, and operational workflows for the regional technology transfer network, training local Technology Transfer Office (TTO) personnel. Oxford Oracle deployed a multidisciplinary advisory team to execute comprehensive technical due diligence, design bespoke commercialisation roadmaps, and establish standardized stage-gate evaluation metrics. This comprehensive initiative significantly accelerated time-to-market for novel inventions while safeguarding core institutional IP rights and fostering regional economic growth.

Consequential Impact

The network connected 6 universities with over 40 regional manufacturers, executing 18 joint R&D projects and generating €3.1 million in commercial contract research revenue. Furthermore, the engagement established a permanent, scalable operational blueprint, driving long-term strategic alignment, continuous revenue growth, and enhanced institutional reputation across global innovation networks.
