PROJECT 188 OF 188

Challenge

As part of our Higher Education consultancy services, Oxford Oracle was commissioned to advise on the creation of the first private, not-for-profit university in Southeast Asia upholding world-class higher education standards. Emerging innovation ecosystems often lack structured early-stage support and institutional frameworks to transform high-impact academic research into commercially viable ventures, presenting both a strategic challenge and a significant economic opportunity.

The Oracle's Solution

Oxford Oracle was commissioned to review and enhance the comprehensive feasibility study for the establishment of a premier private university in Southeast Asia. Oxford Oracle developed:

  • A human resources organigram for the senior leadership team and central administration of the university
  • A phased deployment plan for curriculum development and institutional governance policies
  • A student affairs and industrial engagement strategy
  • Dedicated incubator and accelerator programmes
  • A comprehensive roadmap for international strategic academic partnerships

Consequential Impact

The feasibility study and development roadmap were formally approved by the national government. The university was successfully established and launched, recruiting international cohorts of students and establishing high-impact academic and research partnerships with world-leading universities.
