A Private Research University in Partnership with QIPC in Europe

Challenge
a private research university in partnership with Qualification of Ideas for Protection and Commercialisation (QIPC), Europe Technology transfer training programme. Oxford Oracle delivered a Technology Transfer training course at a private research university, in partnership with Qualification of Ideas for Protection and Commercialisation (QIPC). The institution faced increasing pressure to bridge academic discovery with commercial adoption, requiring structured governance, clear IP policies, and multi-disciplinary collaboration frameworks to overcome traditional research silos.
The Oracle's Solution
The training gave delegates hands-on practical experience in the entire technology transfer process, from attracting Invention Disclosures, evaluating and then marketing technology opportunities, to negotiating licenses and planning spin-out companies, whilst learning about Technology Transfer Best Practice. Oxford Oracle training material was delivered through a mix of presentations, case studies, and interactive exercises. QIPC is a European consultancy that delivered sessions specific to the European environment (for example sources of investment in Europe). Oxford Oracle performed quantitative patent landscape mapping, market benchmark pricing, and targeted partner outreach, structuring robust cross-border licensing frameworks and value-maximizing agreements.
Consequential Impact
The training was delivered primarily to University and Technology Parks, and Technology Transfer Offices based all over Europe.
Furthermore, the engagement established a permanent, scalable operational blueprint, driving long-term strategic alignment, continuous revenue growth, and enhanced institutional reputation across global innovation networks.
