A National Science and Higher Education Ministry in Europe

Challenge
Oxford Oracle collaborated with a university technology transfer organisation to deliver an intensive commercialisation curriculum for 75 delegates from across European universities and research institutes to develop their technology transfer skills at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge as part of a national innovators programme.
The Oracle's Solution
The national science and higher education ministry in Europe engaged Oxford Oracle to train researchers from its national innovators programme. Oxford Oracle, in partnership with a university technology transfer organisation, provided intensive training and mentorship in research commercialisation for 75 leading innovators drawn from across Europe's research institutions. The practical programme focused on sharing key elements of Oxford Oracle's experience in commercialising technology and transferring knowledge. Oxford Oracle consultants guided participants through real-life projects across multiple disciplines to hone practical skills, including technology valuation, marketing, licensing negotiation, and spin-out venture creation. Oxford Oracle also facilitated high-level networking opportunities with senior members of the Oxford innovation cluster.
Consequential Impact
As a consequence of the programme, the participating innovators returned to their home institutions equipped with practical skills to bring high-technology products to market, bridging the gap between academic research and industry while strengthening the wider European innovation ecosystem.
