A Major Research University in Europe

Challenge
In a high-profile project to establish a new entrepreneurship centre at a European research university, Oxford Oracle helped develop the strategic business case and operational offering for the centre.
The Oracle's Solution
In a high-profile project to establish a new regional entrepreneurship centre in Europe, Oxford Oracle worked closely with the three project partners (the research university, the regional university of applied sciences, and the municipality) to complete a comprehensive benchmarking study, stakeholder interviews, and an actionable business plan. To inform the analysis, Oxford Oracle completed a detailed benchmarking review of leading US, UK, and European entrepreneurship centres and incubators. The output was a detailed business plan and strategic presentation delivered to key decision-makers and regional stakeholders. The project partners approved the required funding to establish the centre.
Consequential Impact
Using its extensive expertise in developing entrepreneurship centres and incubators, Oxford Oracle provided the operational foundations for the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE). With the business plan delivered, the Centre has become an active hub and catalyst for regional entrepreneurial and commercialisation activity.
